For me This book helps us to create a new module in drupale. It also providing RTL language support. moreover it leads to creating basic forms

Search your ethernet card’s / wireless card’s name on google, and look for the linux drivers, there should definately be guides floating around, hit and miss sometimes though. Done it before many times..
